About Us

For the past 9 years, we have partnered with the Disney College Program during spring training.

In 2018 we sponsored 2 internships in the Office of the Commissioner in New York , and are continuing to do so once again in 2019. These interns are chosen from a select group of applicants from the Dream program based in Harlem, New York City. We have chosen this program because it exemplifies all that the Trey Duffy Foundation stands for, as well as most of Trey’s immediate family have been volunteers and teachers at Harlem RBI.

Future fundraisers are in the works to continue to build the Foundation’s ability to fund scholarships and internships for exceptional students and baseball based programs as we continue to honor Trey Duffy, who had always hoped to one day work in the Braves Organization.  

The Trey Duffy Foundation has been established to honor lifelong Atlanta Braves fan, Trey Duffy, who died in December 2007.

Trey's passion for the Braves was unmatched. A dedicated, diligent student who inspired and challenged others to strive for their best, he could always be counted on for a laugh and a smile as well. Trey was an irreplaceable and devoted son, brother and friend.

Scholarships will be awarded to the student(s) who best exemplifies these qualities of character and a commitment to academic excellence, with plans to pursue a career in sports management.
